Project info Panel

All the design data is combined with detailing data (structural steel, isometrics from piping) to create an as-to-be-built construction model.

From this panel, you can:

  • Define metadata about the project
  • Edit the project
  • Bulk upload engineering data files and related documents
  • Upload schedules
  • View miscellaneous lists
  • View published i-models
  • Create, edit, and view users (Only available if you have administrator permission)
  • Associate personnel to the project
  • View Status Visualization
  • Set general settings

Project data

When you select Project data, a screen displays showing three tabs. The General information tab displays the name, client, managers and the description of the project and if the project schedule is ready to be exported. The Bulk upload tab allows you to upload multiple files at once. The Documents tab is used to upload documents related to the project.

You can also select the Gear icon > Edit project to open the Edit project window, which allows you to edit the project.

Project lists

Displays the lists associated with the project. Selecting the name of the list you want to view takes you to a window with the list items displayed. From this window you can select the button in the left most column to expand the row and see more detailed information. You can also add and format lists and they can be shared throughout the whole project.

Published models

Allows you to view a list of published models.

Personnel management

(Only available if you have administrator permission) When you select Personnel management, the Manage personnel window opens showing a list of all the personnel associated with the project. From this window you can create or delete a person, view and edit user information, and manage roles, skills, relations, and class.

Status Visualization

Status visualization provides the ability to clearly identify the status of a component in a color-coded model.

Project settings

You can select how to calculate progress, export reports, set the publishing order and other general settings.
